ZRS-2 Hot wire tester

Scope of application:

The Heating Wire Tester heats the specified material (Ni80/Cr20) and heating wire shape (Φ4mm nickel-chromium wire) to the test temperature (550℃~960℃) for 1 minute, then applies pressure (0.95±0.1 N) for 30 seconds to vertically burn the sample.

It is used to determine the ignition risk of electrical and electronic equipment products by whether the test sample and bedding start burning or the duration of sustained burning. It is applicable for determining the flammability, glow-wire ignition temperature (GWIT), flammability, and glow-wire flammability index (GWFI) of solid insulating materials and other solid combustible materials, including insulating materials, engineering plastics, or other solid combustible materials in the industry.
