Brief introduction of the instrument:

Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is a classic thermal analysis technique for measuring thermal effects under programmed temperature control. It is widely applied in multiple material and chemical fields, including R&D, process optimization, quality control, and failure analysis. Using DSC, one can study phase transitions in inorganic materials, melting and crystallization processes of polymer materials, drug polymorphism, and solid/liquid phase ratios in oils and fats.


Instrument use:

Measurements include physical and chemical changes related to heat, such as glass transition temperature, melting point, melting temperature, crystallization and crystallization heat, phase transformation reaction heat, thermal stability, curing/crosslinking, and oxidation induction period of the product.


Reference standard:

GB/T 19466.2–2004/ISO 11357 - 2:1999, Part 2: Assessment of glass transition temperature.
GB/T 19466.3–2004/ISO 11357 - 3:1999, Part 3: Measurement of melting and crystallization temperature as well as enthalpy.
GB/T 19466.6 - 2009/ISO 11357 - 3:1999, Part 6: Determination of oxidation induction time (isothermal OIT) and oxidation induction temperature (kinetic OIT).
