Determination of glass transition temperature-DSC


Application:

DSC-500 is an intelligent, miniaturized thermal analysis instrument integrating unit functions, applicable for material melting, solidification, decomposition, chemical combination, reduction, oxidation, and crystallization processes, phase diagram plotting, and catalyst development. Equipped with a convenient data processing system, it calculates parameters such as epitaxial starting temperature, enthalpy change, glass transition temperature, enthalpy ratio, oxidation induction time (OIT), specific heat, and kinetic parameters (DSC-500A is dedicated to OIT testing). It offers analysis methods for organic, inorganic, polymer, mineral, petrochemical, textile, pharmaceutical, and other materials. Features like graph magnification and narrowing ensure a user-friendly interface with easy operation.


The instrument features:

1.LCD liquid crystal display with blue backlight, displaying abundant information including set temperature, sample temperature, oxygen flow, nitrogen flow, differential thermal signal, and various switch statuses.
2.USB communication interface with high universality, reliable non - interruptive communication, and support for recovery connection function.
3.Compact furnace body structure with infinitely adjustable temperature rise rate. All components adopt mechanical fixing to completely avoid colloid pollution to differential thermal signals inside the furnace during installation.
4.Dual temperature probes ensure repeatability of sample temperature measurement at specified heights. The temperature probe installed on the furnace wall is used for PID control of the overall furnace temperature, but due to thermal inertia, there is a certain deviation in the temperature conducted to the sample, which varies by season. Therefore, temperature control and measurement with a single probe result in large errors for both differential thermal and temperature signals. This instrument installs a temperature probe at the sample bottom to measure the real sample temperature, using special temperature control technology to adjust the furnace wall temperature and make the sample temperature reach the set value.
5.Digital gas mass flow meter enables automatic switching of two - way atmosphere flow with fast switching speed and short stabilization time.
6.Marked with standard samples for convenient customer calibration of the constant temperature coefficient.
7.Furnace cooling interface for rapid cooling as needed.
8.Software adapts to computer screens of various resolutions, automatically adjusting the display mode of each curve according to the screen size. Compatible with laptops and desktops, supporting Win2000, XP, VISTA, WIN7 and other operating systems.
