Application:
Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) methods are used for thermal analysis of polymers and polymer blends, including:
Thermoplastics (polymers, molding compounds, and other molding materials with or without fillers, fibers, or reinforcements)
Thermosets (uncured or cured materials with or without fillers, fibers, or reinforcements)
Elastomers (with or without fillers, fibers, or reinforcements)
DSC is designed to observe and measure various properties and phenomena of the above materials, such as:
Physical transitions (glass transition, phase transitions like melting and crystallization, polymorphic transitions, etc.)
Chemical reactions (polymerization, crosslinking, and curing of elastomers and thermosets, etc.)
Oxidative stability
Heat capacity
The instrument features:
1.LCD liquid crystal display with blue backlight, showing abundant information: set temperature, sample temperature, oxygen flow, nitrogen flow, differential thermal signal, and various switch statuses.
2.USB communication interface with high universality, reliable non-interruptive communication, and support for recovery connection function.
3.Compact furnace body structure with infinitely adjustable heating rate. All components adopt mechanical fixing to completely avoid colloid pollution to differential thermal signals inside the furnace during installation.
4.Dual temperature probes ensure repeatability of sample temperature measurement at specified heights. The furnace wall-mounted probe uses PID to control overall furnace temperature, but thermal inertia causes temperature deviation in the sample, which varies by season. Thus, single-probe control leads to large errors in both differential thermal and temperature signals. This instrument installs a probe at the sample bottom to measure real temperature, using special control technology to adjust furnace wall temperature and match the set value.
5.Digital gas mass flow meter enables automatic switching of two-way atmosphere flow with fast response and short stabilization time.
6.Marked with standard samples for convenient customer calibration of the constant temperature coefficient.
7.Furnace cooling interface for rapid temperature reduction as needed.
8.Software adapts to all resolution screens, automatically adjusting curve display modes based on screen size. Compatible with laptops/desktops, supporting Win2000, XP, VISTA, WIN7 and other OS.
