Thermoplastics pipes for the transport of fluids-Determination of impact by the charpy method
Use:
Designed to test the impact resistance of thermoplastic pipes, engineering plastics, glass, ceramics, cast stone, and other non-metallic materials.
Principle:
A small pipe segment or machined gap-free strip specimen is preprocessed at the specified test temperature. The sample is then horizontally supported, and a pendulum hammer with a given impact energy quickly impacts the support line. After impacting the specified number of samples, the test result is determined as the percentage of damaged samples relative to the total number of tested samples.
