The Izod impact testing machine fully meets the requirements of GB/T1843 "Plastic Izod Impact Test Method", ISO180, GB/T2611, JB/T8761 standards. It is suitable for measuring the impact toughness of non-metallic materials such as hard plastics, reinforced nylon, fiberglass, ceramics, cast stones, and electrical insulation materials. This machine is a testing instrument featuring a simple structure, beautiful appearance, easy operation, and accurate data. The display modes include three types: pointer dial display, digital LCD display, and computer-controlled display. The computer control mode can print experimental reports. According to the impact energy, the models are divided into ADN-5.5 type and ADN-22 type, which can realize the full energy of cantilever beam impact or any combination of energies.
Working Principle:
A pendulum hammer with known energy strikes the sample supported on a horizontal beam, destroying the sample with a single impact. The impact point is centered between the two supports. By calculating the energy difference of the pendulum before and after the impact, the energy absorbed by the sample during destruction is determined. The impact strength is then calculated based on the original cross-sectional area of the sample.
Instrument characteristics:
The instrument employs high-hardness precision bearings and a single-axis photoelectric sensor to fundamentally eliminate friction-induced losses, ensuring frictional energy loss is far below standard requirements.
It intelligently prompts operational status based on impact conditions, maintaining real-time interaction with experimenters to guarantee test success rates.
