ISO179 Charpy Pendulum Impact Resistance Tester Notched Impact Test Device
Application:
The ISO179 Charpy Pendulum Impact Resistance Tester (Notched Impact Test Device) features a color touch-screen interface for operation. It offers intuitive human-machine interaction, high precision, and automatically displays impact energy, calculates impact strength, computes the average impact strength of the entire sample set, and allows arbitrary data deletion. Equipped with an electric hammer release mechanism, the machine is constructed from high-quality steel that undergoes aging treatment to prevent stress deformation. It is designed to measure the impact toughness of non-metallic materials such as hard plastics, fiber-reinforced composites, nylon, FRP, ceramics, cast stone, plastic electrical components, and insulation materials. Widely used in scientific research institutions, universities, and industrial quality control departments, the tester’s technical parameters fully comply with the following standards:
- International Standard ISO179: Determination of Impact Strength of Plastics - Charpy Impact Test
- National Standard GB/T1043: Charpy Impact Test Method for Rigid Plastics
Working Principle:
A pendulum hammer with known energy strikes the sample supported on a horizontal beam, destroying the sample with a single impact. The impact point is centered between the two supports. By calculating the energy difference of the pendulum before and after impact, the energy absorbed by the sample during destruction is determined. The impact strength is then calculated based on the original cross-sectional area of the sample.
Instrument features:
1.The electronic impact testing machine employs circular grating angle measurement technology.
2.It is characterized by high accuracy, stable performance, and a wide measurement range.
3.It digitally displays impact strength, pre-elevation angle, rising angle, and average values.
4.It is equipped with an automatic energy loss correction function.

Packing and Shipping:
For the packaging of our Impact Testing Machine, high-quality materials are used to ensure the product's safety and protection during transportation. The machine is first wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap and then placed into a sturdy cardboard box, which is sealed with strong tape to prevent any shipping damage.
The package dimensions and weight vary according to the specific model of the Impact Testing Machine, but we ensure the package remains compact and lightweight to minimize shipping costs.
